Finding A Grocery Liquidator Near You

A very popular question I get from readers is "How do I find a Grocery Liquidator near me?" And while I wish they were as common as fleas on a dog, they are spread sporadically through out the U.S. and unfortunately there just might not be one by you. Here's a link to post I did a long time ago, listing the ones I could find. So if you're interested, go take a gander HERE.

  1. I recently stumbled upon a grocery liquidator in the Boise, ID area called Boise Bargain Basket. They had great prices on produce and other items - green chilies for $.25/can for example. I'm sure you have other readers in Boise (besides me :)) that might be interested.

  2. We don't have a liquidator store near us in Raleigh, NC. BUT we did find a new gem. Aldi's! Their prices are cheaper than Walmart. And I found that if I buy everything I can there I save a lot. The only thing is they don't sell name brands. They sell their brand. We haven't come across a single item we didn't like yet! They have stores all over the US.

  4. We have a Grocery Outlet near our house. It's actually clean and well kept, unlike many of the others around town. I live in Portland, OR.

My only beef about the GO is that every time I go with my husband the cheese all seems to be expired. But, he shops there anyway and doesn't mention until I'm done eating a great meal... 'can you guess where that came from?'.

  5. I'm going to look for a grocery liquidator here in Orlando, but I do have to give a quick shout out for Aldi!! My mom raised 10 of us on Aldi growing up in the midwest and I am thrilled that they have arrived here in Orlando. It's bare bones, but worth it. Usually good quality with a great double guarantee on everything they carry. My picky hubby has even given his approval on the majority of Aldi brand products.
