GCC Recipe Swap- Fudge Crinkle Cookies

Today in my Willy Wonka cooking class at our homeschool co-op I though I'd pull out a tried and true from my recipe file. With a package of cake mix (which I can get at Win-co for 88 cents) you can make some crazy-good fudgy cookies.

Fudge Crinkles

1 (18 1/4 ounce) package of Devils Food Cake Mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
powdered sugar for rolling

Preheat oven to 350. Stir cake mix, oil and eggs in a bowl until dough forms. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until center is just set. Remove from pans after a minute and cool on wire racks.

  6. Hi Gayle,

Since I always have the basics in my pantry I NEVER purchase store bought cake mixes but wanted to try these anyway.

So, I mixed up all the dry ingredients for my cocoa chocolate cake recipe then added a tsp. vanilla extract, the 1/2 c. oil and 2 lg. eggs & proceeded as directed. HUGE HIT around my house. My family loved them so much and they were so easy, I had to make another batch the next day.

    Thanks for sharing this recipe,
