Yay for your first column! Your advice was really, really good- I love me some common cents! I love the way you showed your own struggles with the concept of frugality- that kind of transparency makes you so real and relatable. Nobody wants to take advice from a perfect know it all!
What a great article. I think you will speak to thousands the way you are tailoring it. I love how you shared your background... that lends credibility and understanding to your audience. I also love that you defined frugality in such a way that you can "find" yourself, even if you do it differently than others. Thank you so much!
Congrats! Wonderful article, it makes me see how much we have in common. We started our own biz 4 years ago and your sentiments on the crash and burn of denial were similar for me. We are a family of 6, homeschooling and the like. I cant wait to read more of your ideas to help me improve our living :)
Praise the Lord for your transparency! I too have been embracing frugality, and it can be very humbling at times in this materialistic society! However, I have to think of Jesus' life and the fact that everything about Him was humbling when He lived on this earth to stay focused on what really matters in daily living! Believe me trying to keep up with the Jones's is so tempting but pointless as well as meaningless....
great first article! I think it makes perfect "cents." Hopefully, we won't all just be watching but will begin practicing some of your wonderful ideas.
Great article, Gayle. You did such a nice job and shared wonderful wisdom and insight. I'm so proud of you! :)You'll definitely bless lives through this.
