I've copied several of your recipes. Thanks!
Looks like a yummy week! Thanks for the link for the vegetarian meatballs. :)
Forget the meatballs. I want to hear about the sale! :) When is it? Same 'ole house?
Hey Gayle, I've noticed that a lot of the breakfast baking recipes you link to are really high in sugar--those apple enchiladas have a whole cupful in addition to the pie filling. Do you usually cut back on the sweetener?
I made the Triple Threat bars this afternoon--with margarine instead of butter (it's what I had) and sunflower seeds instead of nuts. Thumbs up from my kids--although again I did find them pretty sweet.
That's a good question. I very rarely follow a recipe exactly. I sneak in flax, oil substitues, shredded veggies, less sugar, powdered milk, all kinds of stuff, leftovers...all kinds of stuff. So yes, when a fat or sugar content is high, I usually modify the recipe to make it healthier.
Sounds delicious! I have been menu planning for a while and just started my own blog this past Wednesday! I will be linking to MPM for the first time this Monday! I did post this weeks menu today! Feel free to check it out I include recipes and photos! www.garagebandfan.wordpress.com
