Menu Plan Monday

I'm sick. I have a bug. (sniff snort) My body aches (moan, groan) and the thought of my menu this week was not that appealing. I made it in a haze of snot and achy muscles and the gag of drinking Airborne. (whine) But the family has to eat whether I feel like it or not.

Breakfasts

Toast, juice, fruit
Yogurt Parfaits
Scrambled eggs, toast, sausage
Leftover muffins

Dinners

Spaghetti, garlic bread, broccoli
Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup and rolls
Sausage Ravioli Skillet, green beans
Leftover Buffet
For more great menu's go HERE and check back tomorrow to see how my $60-for-6-people shopping trip went.

Sorry you are sick! I am curious to see the Spicy Rice and Beans recipe, but the link takes me to a Spicy Sweet Potato casserole recipe. I hope you start feeling better soon!

I feel your pain.......down with a leg that can't get me anywhere fast without grimacing......but us moms gotta put the "chow" on the table anyhow!?

I pray a speedy recovery to you!

P.S. If you can stand it, eating raw garlic whole, cut up or minced and put in soup, etc. is a great natural antibiotic. Just tell your family to stay away from you for a few days! ( ;

hope you get over it quick. I have been down with it too. I woke up Friday morning feeling like someone had beat me up in my sleep and it went down hill from there. The headache is the worst! Try not to breath on anyone!

I hope you're feeling better for the great weekend!!

I tried the french toast Raphael for breakfast this morning. I added in sliced apples (cut into more slices) which I sprinkled with cinamon sugar and used up an old loaf of white bread. My kiddos thought the french toast was wonderful! I especially like the apple/cream cheese bites. :)
