I had to laugh when I saw 5 dz eggs. A dz eggs will last Bob and me over a week, and that's when we do some baking, too!

Thanks for sharing this with us and I loved the birthday wishes!

Way to go, Gayle! That's so awesome!

I'm headed to Tri-Cities today and may go to Win-Co and check out the bulk items. Ohhh how I wish I had a Win-Co!

How's the TVP going? That's what it's called, right?

The Daily News article helped me find you again and I remembered how much I missed blogging and your wonderful blog in particular! I think the new site is GENIUS and I can't tell you how motivated and excited I am to cut my grocery bill! I'll be lingering in web-land and will be a regular on your blogs. Well done and "see ya in the funny papers!" (aka: the daily news - finally a column I want to read!)

May I ask what you need all the bandaids for? ; )

Good job with the tally this week.
I found a web site with directions on how to make sour cream and cream cheese from yogurt. Let me know if want it.

Gayle, we have a grocery outlet or liquadator store or something near us too. I have never shopped there. I always thought they were off-off brands and haven't wanted to try them (even though I buy store brands). I also thought maybe the cans were damaged are near expiration or something. I guess I'm a "food snob" and I've been afraid to try it.

Could you either do a post some time about your experience with them, or at least let me know if there are any special tips or things I should know about buying there? Thanks!

I'm new to this site and am very interested in what you are doing because we spend WAY too much! Please link me if you have already posted this stuff, but what do you do for lunches? And I noticed you don't by any snack stuff, do you guys snack? Thanks in advance!

I was also wondering what you do for lunch and snacks. I have three very active teenagers, and can not imagine feeding them only bananas and milk for breakfast. It will be interesting to see what your shopping looks like when they are older..
