I wrap these up in $1 store boxes, burn some free downloaded christmas music onto a CD and give them as gifts.
You can find free christmas music downloads here, here, and here. The blank CD's cost about $1 each and the labels that you can design yourself and attach to the CD's can be purchased at an office supply store and work out to be about $.50 each. Total cost for the CD $1.50!

I get such great recipes from the swap on Fridays..thanks
Wow! Those cookies look yummy! I've been looking for a new cookie recipe for an annual cookie exchange I go to....and I think I found it! Thanks for posting this.
I am giving CDs to my staff this year! Great minds think alike!
Great recipe and gift idea! I already have all those ingredients on hand too...thanks!
These cookies look delish and what a great gift idea. Thanks for hosting the swap - I love to see what everyone is doing, especially around the holidays!
That is a great gift idea! Where were you when I was on the hunt for gift ideas? :-) I don't have a special recipe just yet, but that's one goal of mine this holiday season. Even if that extends through Easter because we're still taste-testing cookies for THE one.
Just a note on these, as I make them every year, too! :) One thing that I do is to make up the peanut butter centers early and shape them. I put them on cookie sheets and slip them into the freezer until they are hard. Then you can store them in a plastic bag or container in the freezer until you need them, and dip and decorate them at that time. Now you can do the prep work early and have fresh candies whenever you need them. Doing this saves me time and the centers freeze perfectly!
Those look so good. I think I will experiment and see if pea butter works in that recipe, as we can't have peanut butter in the house. Your frugal gift ideas are great- keep them coming!
I was just looking for something easy (and inexpensive) to make to give to my kids' teachers, thanks for the great idea!!
I love finding new recipes on Fridays! This is my first contribution - hope you enjoy!
100 balls, great! 25 for each thigh, 25 for my gut and another 25for my butt.
Excellent! Can't wait!
We had some friends give us chocolate-dipped peanut-butter balls--wow! My daughter wanted to know if we could make some too...maybe we will.
By the way, you have been awarded a Butterfly Award for Blog Coolness. Thank you for all the good ideas you've shared this year!
