Menu Plan Monday

I had a great time at my girly weekend. Thanks for all the well wishes. But back to reality now. You'll probably notice the lack of a thrilling Superbowl menu because #1 we don't have cable and #2 my guys just aren't really into it. It's just a regular old week for us.

Breakfasts

Toast and Fruit
Pancakes
Poached Eggs and Toast
Leftover Frozen Pancakes

Dinners

Turkey Bean Soup (I'm making this one up as I go) and Peasant Bread
Basil Cheese Polenta Wedges with marinara sauce and steamed broccoli
Baked Potato Night with Salsa, Chili, Cheese, Sour Cream
Spaghetti, green beans, Garlic Rolls
Leftovers

Go see what's cooking across the country HERE.

We do have cable, but didn't even know the super bowl was this week! I am glad my husband is not into spectator sports, because neither am I! Glad you posted the German Pancake recipe. I used to have a good one and lost it, and this looks alot like it. Have a good week!

Ha! I didn't even realize it was Superbowl weekend! How's that for a family "not into it"?

This suggestion might not work for this week, but if you make those pumpkin muffins again try using butterscotch chips instead of chocolate...we tried this once and the flavor combonation was great!!

Hey Gayle, Just wondered if you've ever tried making your own pasta? I noticed you had lasagna on your menu. I have made homemade pasta several times now, the lasagna noodles were my favorite, though.

Great looking menu! I see most of your recipes are from RecipeZaar which is one of my favorite recipe sites to view, too. :D The crockpot lasagna sounds great along with those garlic rolls!!

Have a great week!

Gayle, what do you serve for lunches? I stay at home with my two little guys and have to feed my husband lunch left-overs for lunch or he uses his allowance to go out for lunch. (The kids and I usually end up eating PB&J or maybe leftovers.) I am really wondering what you do for lunch for you and your DH. Thanks for all of the inspiration!

Oh hey I forgot to tell you while I was on recipezaar in some sort of desperation to figure out how to keep my grocery budget down and still get shampoo and dishwasher detergent I typed them in and guess what? They have an all natural recipe for both! I posted the links on my blog It seems zaar has a recipe health and beauty section. Cool huh?
