Your Vote Counts
So.....I had a request to do a Mr. Linky on my grocery shopping posts every week and I want to know if anybody else out there is interested. It's the post where I take the picture of what I shop for and then break it all down for my grand total. A Mr. Linky could be put up at the end and anybody else who wants to participate can join in...just like Friday's recipe swap. So I'm taking a vote. Here's your chance to be heard.

I think it's a great idea. I for one would like the challenge. That's why I started my blog...to make myself accountable for what I'm spending. Even if no one reads it, just the thought that someone might makes me feel more accountable.
I'm all for it. I enjoy being able to find other like-minded shoppers that way to gain additional inspiration. Even though we're all "frugal" if we're following your blog, we still might do things differently and it's nice to connect with women "like us". Thanks!!
That would be soooo Cool. I love reading your blog to see what you spend each week on your family. We have a family of 4 but I feed 5 more kids M-F for breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks.
It's not for me but that isn't why I come here... it is to catch up with new recipes, ideas for being frugal, menu ideas... but I would not be opposed to you doing it... and I might check out other blogs from time to time!
Until just can't compete with your frugalness, so I might now link, but I would go look! I think it is a good idea- many people are trying to be more careful with their spending.
Gayle - Thanks for your blog. The Mr. Linky is not for me, but others might like it. Thanks for your posts. I enjoy the read.

I would totally participate! I love to check out now others are stretching their budgets to the max!
I actually check out another blog for this very reason. I like to see what other people find for their meals and what great deals are out there. I love your site!
I agree. I think a Mr. Linky would be awesome. I truly enjoy your posts, and check it out at least once a day. I am always looking for inspirations, as to how to stick to my budget, and for budget friendly recipes!
Not sure I would be able to participate - I just can't find the same bargains as you down here!! I've gone looking - I would be interested to see what others are doing though! Maybe I'll find some other ideas!
That is really funny, because I just wrote an entry earlier this week about my weekly menu/grocery budget! (and your blog was my inspiration- keep up the good work!) I'm trying very hard to make those pennies stretch, but it is very difficult, since my city seems to not have a single grocery discount or outlet store anywhere. I'm afraid I don't make HUGE savings like many people seem to do, but I'm content to just make everyone else look good. ;-)
If you put up Mr. Linky, I would definitely participate.
What a great idea!
I am not sure if I would post my purchases but I always read about our purchases and would definitely read the linkies to others shopping if you have them
I think I would like to participate if you did a mr. linky!
This sounds like a wonderful idea, go for it - my answer is YES!
I think it's great. I stumbled on your blog and really enjoy it. I have a family of six and because of your great ideas am going to try it with my family.
I'm game, however, I don't have double coupons in my area, so won't be able to get my grocery bill as low as you do! That being said, it would be good for all of us to compare notes.
I think I would like to participate...
I think it's a great idea too! I have just started following your blog and I L-O-V-E it! I feed a family of 6 and 9 other children, plus 1 adult, breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack also. Anyways, yes I would like the Mr. Linky and I would participate.
I love the idea! Go for it!
I think that's an awesome idea,
your blog has been an inspiration
alone, but It would also be
great to read the blogs of other
like-minded folk, i can't wait to
start my own recipe blog someday...
I recently found your wonderful site while searching the web. I think Mr. Linky would be a great addition to your site. I have learned a lot and also enjoy reading what others post. If you can even learn one new thing, it sure helps in this day and age with shopping, cooking and preparing meals.
I think it is a great idea. If people include what part of the coutnry they are in too, it would be great! I sometimes feel bad when I cant get my bill down as low as I have read other places.. but then I remember that all parts of the country ahve different grocery prices and coupon deals so it does make a difference!
It would be great. I already list my groceries, so I would love to link to your site.

I think its a great idea. I would love to participate!
A Mr. Linky would be great! As soon as I figure out how to use it...lol!
I think it would be awesome. It would help those of us who live in areas where the groceries just are not that inexpesive to broaden our horizons and search a little harder and share great finds.
I think it is a good idea! I currently post my grocery shopping trips due to a reader request, so I would definitely link up!
♥ you changed your background and I loved it!!
wish I had used it for mine, can't find it thoug
Yea! I am so excited! Thanks for doing this, its feels great to be heard!
Jenna
I might if I knew how to use it? Also you would feel great about yourself, because no matter what I can't come close to your totals! I know tolietries are one of my downfalls.
Yep, I would love that. I just found your site - looking forward to checking it out!
Okay call me stupid but does that mean that we would link our shopping trip like in the recipe links?
I still haven't figured that our yet!
I think the idea is great. I am thoroughly enjoying this blog. I want to thank Chris for recommending it to me. I do have a question about the recipes listed on the blog. My husband and I have made a 2009 (starting tomorrow) pact to lose weight. Are the recipes listed okay for weight loss?
Great idea!
