GCC Shopping Round Up - The Garden Starts To Pay Off

Getting some great fresh and free produce from our garden this week. We found some beautiful bright red tomatoes, lots of lettuce and some cucumbers and squash. The green beans are working hard at climbing the poles but aren't quite ready yet. And after the huge burst of hot weather we had, the apples and plums are starting to ripen earlier than normal. All that kept costs down for me this week.

I know. It kind of freaked me out. I keep wondering if I forgot something major. I guess we'll find out.

I didn't know Grocery outlet lets you use coupons. I thought they don't take them. But you had put in your post you used a $4 off coupon on the Turkey?

Yeah, I don't think they take coupons either. The discount was attached to the meat package. I think it was marked down because it was close to the sell-by date. So each package had a red sticker on it that said $2 off.
