Soccer season starts this week with multiple practices for three out of four of the kids. It's about to get insanely busy at our house. So in the next few weeks I'll be pulling out all my tried and true crock pot recipes so our busy evenings are still filled with homemade dinners. But until then we'll be having these yummy dishes for the week...

Scrambled eggs and fruit
French Toast with blueberries
Yogurt Parfaits

We have the same issue with football. Usually my boys don't like crock pot meals, because of the "look" of them. I read through your menu. How do you prepare those dinner in the crock pot, or do you make them ahead and reheat? Thanks! I love your site, especially the Recipezaar links.
Hi Nicole,
I didn't have any crockpot recipes on the menu this week. I'm just looking ahead to what's coming real soon for us. I'll probably just dig them out and get them organized for the coming weeks. I have some really good ones that don't "look" like piles of glop that might appeal to your boys. Keep an eye out for those in the coming weeks.

It make dinner a little They don't want to eat before the 6 o'clock practice, but then they are starving afterwards! I do the same thing you do. Check out my website.
