Menu Plan Monday

It's late. I'm tired and I fell totally uninspired about my menu this week. Does anyone else have weeks like that?

Oh well. Here's what I came up with.

Breakfasts

Pancakes and syrup
Oatmeal
Granola, yogurt and berry parfaits
French toast
Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns
Blueberry muffins and oranges
Leftover Muffins

Dinners

Taco's
Homemade Vegetable Beef Soup and rolls
Crockpot Roast Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans
Homemade Mac and Cheese, Tomato Balsamic Salad
Leftover Buffet Night
Birthday Party
Superbowl Party

I'm not a menu planner by nature, I'd much rather think about what I want for dinner the morning before, so most weeks planning of the menu is like pulling teeth for me. I know it the long run, money wise anyway, it's better if I do but I still hate to do it.

I totally feel for you.

I love to meal plan and do a monthly plan. It changes weekly sometimes but I still love it. However, I do run into times when I'm not feeling like eating what I put on the plan. And in that case, I just eat a bowl of cereal :)

Ahh yes, should I mention that last week was one blah of a week for me menu, laundry and gen. housekeeping-wise? Your menu looks very yummy :)

Last week I didn't make a single thing from my meal plan. I still cooked and worked with what I had, but nothing from my plan sounded good.

I feel uninspired at times....I tell myself I just have to fed my family. Then I start to think about how much they mean to me and how I want to do a good job for them. I usually pull out my recipe tins and look for something I haven't made in awhile or I ask what they want. Asking what they want is a special treat because sometimes I overlook doing that.

Have a great week.

That sounds like a pretty yummy menu for being uninspired.

I plan my week ahead of time, but it's okay to be flexible, too. Last night I wasn't in the mood for tuna casserole as planned, so I went with breakfast for dinner instead. And the good thing about having a stocked pantry is you can make so many meals with stuff onhand.

I have weeks like that all the time! Thankfully this week, though, I am going to visit my sister so I only needed to menu plan for 3 days :)

I thought hummm ohss was normal.
We usually start calling around to see what the kids or parents have on their menu.

I love your meal plans, but boy do I miss all the links they used to have ;) I have been so uninspired lately. Probably because we are so much busier than we have been. I need easy meals that taste good!
