I hit the stores early today and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The only people in there were busy stocking shelves and polishing the floors. I just might have to do that again. Here's what I gathered.

Try this Gayle- melt some chocolate chips and a dab of shortening. Dip the apricots in the melted chocolate. Dry them on wax paper.
If you want to get even fancier you could shove a raw almond in the apricot before dipping. Yum!
Why so late on the linky?
I wish I could find bread in our area for 50 cents a loaf. Doughnuts too. I am lucky enough to live very close a bread store outlet store but their prices are much higher that these.
I think it is interesting how prices are so different across the country.
