Menu Plan Monday

I'll be the first to admit that I'm getting sick of roast turkey. You can only hide it so many ways. So I'm happy to say that I think we might actually see the last of ours for awhile after this weeks menu plan.

Breakfasts (choice of)

Freezer Cranberry Struessal Muffins, whole wheat pancakes, strawberry/banana smoothies, or eggs

Dinners

Crockpot Turkey Chili with Cornbread
Egg Salad Sandwiches with pickles and fruit
Korean Chicken Thighs, brown rice, steamed veggies
Jerk Turkey Slow Cooker Soup with Buttery Bread Machine Rolls
Ground Turkey Meatloaf, potatoes, corn
Turkey Salad with fruit and cheese bread
Leftover Buffet and hopefully the last of the turkey!

Check back tomorrow for the shopping!

I hear ya....it's SO cool to get 10+ meals from one bird and it's SO not cool to get 10+ meals from one bird. ;)

We just finished the rest of ours (from Thanksgiving) about a week ago. Hallelujah!

I got a free turkey at Thanksgiving that is still hanging out in the freezer taking up way to much room. It was after the holidays that my husband told me he didn't like turkey. Oh well...we have it and we are going it eat it but I won't be doing that again. It's not a great deal if people don't want to eat it.

We cooked a turkey last week, and I just froze it in small plastic containers to use throughout the month. You can get too much of a good thing! We still have two more turkeys in the freezer too! Thanks for the recipe ideas.

I made those Buttery Rolls today! Oh my! Soooo good. I kept looking at the name and thought, I'll bet those are good. Except I don't have a bread machine -- I could make them by hand, but it says machine. So I found a good deal on ebay. All primed yesterday -- except I don't have bread flour. Fixed that problem this morning and it was WELL WORTH the effort. They remind of Aunt Mary Louise's. Cherri

Gayle,

I can't agree with you more about the turkey we had three birds cooked recently (the cost of ground beef has been so high and the birds were almost free) Try Turkey alfredo use egg noodles, alfredo sauce, turkey and top with parmesean cheese serve with garlic toast and salad. This is my recipe to hide turkey when everyone is sick of turkey and we have already had turkey chilli and turkey everything else!
