Sometimes I think it would be cheaper for me to raise my own chickens with the cost of eggs and how many we eat...but then I remember I am afraid of chickens ;)
Your eggs are still cheaper than ours! Here in Indiana, 5 dozen eggs cost me $8.16 on a regular basis! I sure hope they don't jack up the price for the holidays! UGH!
Blessings!
Around here at Easter time in MI, the price of eggs goes way down with a promotional thing to get you into the store to buy other items. We have a few chickens, but when you have to buy feed, it is quite pricey..........
Blessings for a wonderful Easter -- He is risen; He is risen indeed!

We buy Pete's Organic...and it's 3.69 for a dozen...:/.
I think it may be time to get some chickens.
I always find great deals on eggs at Passover/Easter time--a dozen for .99, and next week an 18 ct for 1.49 at Shoprite! I use tons for Passover!!
