I made the Crockpot Baked Potatoes and Mac & Cheese last week. Thanks for the recipes. Question on the Mac & Cheese though, the recipe said not to cook the macaroni, but it sure seemed like it would have tasted better if cooked. What did you do?
Thanks!

Bread Pudding for breakfast. YUM!
Hoosier Homemade,
Yeah, I thought the uncooked pasta was a neat trick. I just tossed it in there and kept an eye on it to make sure it was cooked all the way through. It wasn't my favorite crockpot mac and cheese recipe but we still liked it.
I wouldn't recommend the ziploc omelets as the ziploc containers should not be used in heating due to the BPA content. On Ziploc's website they even warn against doing this! Just an FYI from a mom who used to do this while camping, but has since stopped!
We make the Italian rice balls all the time. We call them Croquettes and we don't serve them with marinara. I put the chunk of cheese in the middle and also little cubes of ham. This in one of the recipes I make to use up the leftover ham. We play a game - I put two chunks of ham in each one except one. In that one, I put three chunks. The person with the three pieces wins! All they win is bragging rights (and an extra piece of ham) but they enjoy it. I also bake these most of the time. They are much better when fried but are healthier and less messy to make when you bake them. I brush them with olive oil and then bake them on a sheet pan til brown and heated through. You'll really like these. We do - and talk about cheap!!!!
yum...I've been wanting to do that ham/potato/green bean recipe too, as we've had nice fresh green bean sales. Can hardly wait until we get the fresh ones out of the garden!
