I'm trying a few new recipes this week in preparation for upcoming houseguests. In April we will have 10 mouths to feed instead of six for about a week so I'm looking for crowd pleasers. Here's what I gathered this week.

Hi Gayle!

This is a great website for budget-friendly feeding a crowd. Most of the recipes can be made ahead of time too. I have used a lot of their recipes for church functions, etc - haven't found any duds :-)
It is geared toward caterers...

Lots of great tips for shoppin' on the cheap here........ thank you. I have a tip for you too... If you buy vanilla extract, almond extract... that type of thing at Michaels with your 40 -50% coupon, you'll save a bundle. It's not something you buy often, I'm sure, but it's a great deal. They have that cake decorating section so it's a great spot to pick up those items.
